Taking place on September 29th at the Bryant Park Hotel, you will be able to see leading technology in action, figure out new ways to improve business security, and meet other local security experts.
Palo Alto Networks – Protecting Against Ransomware
In this demonstration, Palo Alto Networks will examine how a Ransomware attack works to infect a machine. With a single click from the end-user, the attacker can successfully encrypt all of the user’s files. Palo Alto Networks will show how each layer of their platform plays an important role in protecting your network and preventing such attacks.
Imperva – Data Application & Protection
An increasing rate of targeted attacks on data has forced organizations to reassess their data loss prevention strategy. Imperva will demonstrate how their solution can protect and secure your most important data and web applications from insider and outside threats.
Carbon Black – Endpoint Security
Traditional antivirus is no longer able to provide adequate protection to the growing threats endpoints face. During their presentation, Carbon Black will show how CB Defense can protect computers from the full spectrum of modern cyber-attacks. They will also show how CB Response can continuously record and capture all threat activity so you can hunt threats in real time, visualize the complete attack kill chain, and then quickly respond and remediate.
FireMon – Security Intelligence Platform
Having a multi-vendor environment can often lead to increased complexity and time management constraints. FireMon will demonstrate how their Security Intelligence Platform can improve effectiveness of network defenses, optimize investments, and speed up the response time to changing business demands.
Throughout this event vendor booths will be setup for attendees to ask specific questions regarding each solution. In addition to our presenting partners, Centrify will have a booth discussing their Identity Access Management Solutions and ForeScout will have a booth talking about their NAC solution.
